Welcome to the PDS User Group Association! Since 1974, we have helped to educate our users on making the most of their software investment. Today, the PDS UGA consists of more than 1,000 members, led by a committee of PDS staff and users.

Through this group, members benefit by networking, sharing ideas with other users in similar situations, learning successful solutions, and receiving the latest information on PDS products, seminars, and training schedules.

What our attendees say...

"This is the best conference I go to! The ability to network with other Vista users and bring home their ideas is so valuable! And the brainstorming! How many other companies out there ask their clients for feedback and ideas on how to improve their own product? Well done PDS!"

Hundreds Attend the “Vista - An Oasis of Opportunities" Event!

The 34th PDS User Group Association Conference, themed “Vista, an Oasis of Opportunities” was held on September 12 – 15 at the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa, in Indian Wells, California. With close to 250 customers attending the event and based upon the feedback received, it appears that conference attendees were pleased with the knowledge that they gained and thoroughly enjoyed the location.

A variety of PDS and PDS customer-presented Sessions and Workshops were offered throughout the conference event. Conference attendees had many choices to make amongst the 60 sessions and 23 additional self-guided workshops that were available. Based upon feedback that we had received, the Education Track featured instructor-led Workshops that covered a broad range of Vista product features. Each timeslot featured one Workshop and offered attendees a hands-on opportunity to learn more about the latest version of Vista. The educational opportunities covered the entire Vista product suite and attendees walked away with a wealth of materials that they will be able to leverage back home.

PDS staff gain our own education from each UGA conference event. Particularly from the outcome of the PDS UGA Brainstorming process, where conference attendees collaborate and prioritize product improvements. Hearing feedback directly from customers is a powerful tool that we are very grateful for. This allows PDS to deliver what is truly most important to you. Already we are implementing new enhancements and we look forward to many more. Click here to visit the PDS UGA Brainstorming page to learn more about the process.

Another event that occurs at each UGA conference, is the election of a new Steering Committee. Many of the remaining members from our prior conference term elected to stay on, though TeddiAnne Krehbiel and Kim Johnson stepped down. Five new members were added to fill all open positions. We’d like to welcome our new members to the committee:

Once again the Vista Solutions Center was the focal point of product troubleshooting. Customers allocated time to meet with PDS product experts from across the organization so that they could learn more about the Vista product and solve problems that they’d encountered.

Conference attendees also took the opportunity to have some fun during the conference event. With the addition of our conference app, many attendees shared their photos, which we’ve added to the 2017 UGA photo library. Click here to visit the PDS UGA Photo page.

If you were unable to attend this year's conference, and you’re interested in gaining access to the content, you can purchase a PDS UGA 2017 Conference CD, which contains a copy of the sessions and workshops, for $100. Click here  if you’re interested.

In the months to come, your friends at PDS hope to hear from you with your own success stories (from applying things that you learned at the conference) within your own Vista environment. Hearing of your success is what drives us!
